Birth Doula package

* 1-2 prenatal visits

* Unlimited phone/email/text support through 12 weeks postpartum

* On-call support beginning at 37 weeks

* Attendance during labor wherever you choose to labor and give birth

* Continued support following the birth until you are ‘settled’ in (up to 3 hours)

* 1 postpartum visit

* Review of the birth, plus a copy of the birth notes

  • We offer two prenatal planning meetings where we can get to know you and your birthing preferences. These will include:

    +Helping to craft a birth plan, if desired

    +Teaching comfort measures and positioning

    +Talking through your previous birth experiences

    +Providing resources and answering questions

    We provide continuous email and text support during your pregnancy, and you will have access to our combined knowledge and experience

    24 hour on-call phone support starting at 37 weeks

  • When labor begins, we provide support via phone or text until you decide you would like your doula to join you.

    Throughout your labor, we provide continuous physical, emotional, and mental support. This can include:

    +Hands on comfort measures

    +Guided breathing and visualizations

    +Positioning suggestions

    +Giving guidance to your partner

    +Advocating for your birth preferences

    After the birth, we provide 1-3 hours of postpartum support to get you settled in. During that time, we provide preliminary lactation support, if desired.

  • We will have one postpartum visit in your home, generally around 1-2 weeks, to:

    + Discuss your birth experience and provide you with our notes and timeline from your birth

    +Provide basic breastfeeding support

    +Answer questions

    +Provide referrals as needed

    We will be available up to 12 weeks for phone, email and text support.
